OLD TAPE ART

Have you all seen portraits of musicians made out of recycled cassette tape with their own original cassettes? If you haven't, it would be great to check out this awesome artist's work!

Erika Iris Simmons is a painter and sculptor who works with non-traditional media and is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art.

Michael Jackson

Kurt Cobain

Jimi Hendrix

John Lennon

Robert Smith

Lauryn Hill

“The idea comes from a philosopher’s (Ryle) description of how your spirit lives in your body. I imagine we are all, like cassettes, thoughts wrapped up in awkward packaging.”

She is very imaginative. There is no doubt about that. :)

My favorite is Lauryn Hill, which one is yours?

8 Bit Invasion of NYC

French director, Patrick Jean and Onemoreprod.com have created a colossal short film, appropriately titled, PIXELS. Here, NYC is consumed by pixelitis, a rare but extremely contagious digital disease that turns everything into cubes. Donkey Kong, Space Invader, Tetris and Pong all wreak havoc in this 3D animation invasion.

Made by Philip Bloom, dedicated to his friend Sky Vassar who died tragically at his young age.

every single thing.
Through this short video we can see some of that precious thing goes by really fast,
and being ignored.

This video filmed in Dubai for only 5 nights and days.
yet, has uncountable beautiful moments in it.

Aware of your surroundings and be thankful every day! :D
